I have a sidecar on it at present but want a Hannigan style, (longer wheelbase), trike kit. IRS preferred, but I might not have the luxury of choice.
Anyone know what the current offerings are for it?

I dont think any trike manufactures make a longer wheel base kit these days. The double belt setup was more troublesome than it was worth.
As far as installing a Independent rear system, the only one I know of for your year bike is DFT. I have a buddy who has a DFT on his 1992 FLHTC. He bought the trike kit without the body and installed his own body.
Thanks FLTR...
Guess the 90 will stay hacked...
did you look at Motor trike?
If I had a choice between a solid axle trike or no trike,I would go with the solid axle and never look back.
Champion Trike offers a solid axle trike conversion for your 90 and their stuff is very good quality.

I have the champion straight axle kit on my 1989 fltcu tour glide ultra and I like it just fine. Built it myself.
I believe Frankenstein has one for that year also?

Bought a raked triple tree from Bazooka, handles great.
The ride may be a little rough in town but it's built for the highway and it smooth's right out on the road, corners like it's on rails.
My buddies tri-glide cant compare in handling.
:Coffee: There is one proposition that is designed to keep a man in everlasting ignorance and the concept is condemnation before investigation.
Thanks for the good ideas & info Gents.
I have to find someone near me that has a Champion or M/T kit to get a feel for their wheelbases.
Long story short; I'm in a wheelchair & can't "transfer" from chair to saddle of a factory HD trike, as the rear fender/axle location puts me even with the fuel tank.
I was really hoping Hannigan had an offering, but they got back to me shooting my hopes down for one of their conversions.
I'm still a hands on guy, & will eventually figure this out. I really don't want to convert to chain drive & modify a kit to get the extended w/b that I need, but I'm not ruling that out either.
Lucky for me I have a home built Servi-car with autostick & VW power, so I'm in the breeze just not fully independent on my original pride & joy.
Thanks again & enjoy what's left of our riding season, for those of us in the country's snow belt...ThumbUp
