durango9, thanks for answering my question! I went ahead last night and did a search on it. I think I will try it next tire change. Thanks, Rick
Why wait????
Put it in now, the flat you save may be your own:Coffee:
To all, make sure you follow directions
Ride on
... etc ...
It stays fixed to the inside of the tire and can be peeled off without any rim mess to clean up.
I've used Ride On, there is some mess to clean off at tire change.
Some of it will stay liquid, some of it will dry a little flaky, it does balance superbly, it will seal air leaks (even sealed a rotted valve stem delaying a flat .... which I discovered just as getting ready for next ride days later when checking psi) .....
..... and when tire change comes you will be using a brush and soapy water to remove it from the rim .... at least the rim flanges.

My trike installer recommended Avon front tire...
Now that I'm reading this post, I now understand that there is a reason for changing tires...

Interesting comments.
I've used RideOn for years. Following the instructions for dispensing and clearing the valve stem and riding to disperse, I have never had any get on the rims! Since it has always properly deposited inside the tire, I don't understand how it could seal a rotted valve stem?
