Where does one place the Handicap Plastic Card on there Trike?
There has to be a few of you out there.
Anybody ever steal them?
I have to wait one year until I can get the plates.
Thanks,

Re: Handicap Question
It will get stolen at some point in time, by a lazy person who can't get one by legal means....

Re: Handicap Question
maybe I can tie wrap it some how :(

Re: Handicap Question
We hang the card around the cord in the tour pack then shut the lid and lock it. It hangs out over the passenger seat. Have not had it stolen yet. Had to get a new card once because of rain ruining the card.

Re: Handicap Question
Make a couple copies with a good printer, then seal the copies in plastic.
Leave a copy stuck on the dash (velcro??).

Re: Handicap Question
We were in getting tabs for Gloria's car handicap plates, and she asked if they had the motorcycle version. They looked up if she was eligible and had us bring in the old plate and gave us a motorcycle handicap plate.
Ask at the office where your state does the plates/tabs if you can get a plate for the trike. We didn't know Missouri had handicap plates for motorcycles, was a shot in the dark that paid off.

Re: Handicap Question
Virginia has handicap MC plates. I'd be surprised if all states didn't offer them.

Re: Handicap Question
Oh so does Iowa. BUT I think you have to have the temp one
for a year before you can get plates. (just hear say) will find
out soon though.

Re: Handicap Question
There is no where to stick a Disabled Blue Badge (Handicapped is not a PC word here) on the trike. This being due to too many sticky fingured people going around.....(Theives)

Re: Handicap Question
My S/O has a handicap motorcycle plate. Can't walk very far but can ride on 2 wheels! Ohio has the plates!

Re: Handicap Question
looks like after reading into it a bit more I can get a hang card or stickers for plates OR the plate it self. so worse case is the sticker for the small trike plate I guess.
I also have 6 other cars to put them on ... Ummmm $25 for the plate though.

Re: Handicap Question
In NY anyways, an owner can get the HC plate. My wife, being handicapped, means I can't get that plate. However, what I have been doing for the last decade plus for her is scanning mirror hang and printing it either on mylar clear sheet or large clear packing labels and just sticking it on right side of windshield. For long trips, I leave mirror hang in tourpack in case any police have a problem (never have). Done this all over US and in Canada.

I made a photocopy of the original, and I can wedge it between the windscreen and the pouch I have for my sunnies.
I actually have the International symbol as a sticker -- one on the front corner of my screen, the other fits nicely into the bottom right hand corner of the Tour Pak [so showing one front and back]
Got them from Reflective Tape IS ReflectivelyYOURS.com - <h1>Reflective Tape Kits - Reflective Tape, reflective decals pinstripes Jeff has a few good items
If you purchase, enter keywords "$5 Paypal Rebate" and that is a gift voucher :D
