I use formula plus I the primary, 15W50 Napa full synthetic in the motor, 80W90 full syn gear oil in the transmission OEM coolant in the radiator.
I use Ultra 1 Plus, buy it by the 5 gallon bucket. 20w50 full synthetic, and the gear oil for tranny and primary. They meet HD/ JASO spec. Easy to get into a debate over lubricants. Dont take anybody's word for it prove it too yourself. Download the safety data sheet(s) and compare. You will see that any magical properties exist mainly in the minds of Madison Avenue Marketeer's and the suckers that overpay for oil with hip sounding names.
I used to run all SYN 3 but have switched to all Redline products.
I tried HD Gear oil in Primary and really liked it
It finally came down to how easy it is to get and cost.
They all work about the same.

Question..........When You Check The Engine Oil With The Dip Stick, Is It Ok To Add Oil In The Same Hole As The Dip Stick Just To Top It Off ???

I give up, what is the punch line?
Anyhow, I know this thread will go at least 10 pages before it is done so I'll get my .02 in early. I throw Syn-3 in the engine and primary and use BelRay in the tranny. I started doing this a couple years ago on the advise from a service manager down in Paducah. He had a stupid amount of miles on a 10 year old Harley, something like 300,000 plus and had never rebuilt his motor yet.

As long as you take the Dip-Stick out first….

You need to consider the overlooked brake fluid also
Flush every 2 years for sure, including hydraulic clutch fluid
