I need opinions!
Good afternoon everybody!
I'm currently riding a 2007 Suzuki C-90 on a Lehman factory installed kit. (I'm her 2nd owner) I upgraded from the C50 (also on a Lehman Kit) so I could keep up with my husband who rides a BMW 1150RT 2 wheeler. Here's my situation... I love the bike, really I do. except for one tiny problem.. I live in Las Vegas. We tend to get a bit "warmish" from say, oh May till October.. While the C-50 was a liquid cooled engine, and didn't get hot at the drop of a hat.. The C-90 is air cooled and when I roll down the road, I swear, dogs chase me thinking they smell bacon from the heat of the pipes, etc reflecting off of my legs! The entire front end of the bike gets so hot (tank/head cover included) that it's even uncomfortable dismounting due to the heat of the parts of the bike that touch the saddle! I've had several mechanics look at the bike. Nothing wrong with it other than it's air cooled and there's no such thing as "Cool air" in Las Vegas in Summer. (Well hell..)
So... I'm seriously considering selling Dottie. I need a bike that won't burn my butt! I cannot ride a Goldwing because I need to stretch my legs out straight while riding. Any other liquid cooled bikes out there that I don't know about?
I also really don't have any idea of an asking price for her. We've taken very good care of her. Always Garage kept. All work, usual maintenance, etc documented. We did add one little "farkle". Since she only had a 3 gallon gas tank, it was irritating to have to stop every 15 minutes to gas up when the Beemer Boy could go all day on 1 fill up. So he added a pony tank. It sits between the rear wheels under the axle. I just have to be careful of speed bumps. To switch tanks, throw a toggle switch and voila! Go on down the road!
Any hints! Thanks in advance!!!

just my thoughts here, as for riding a Gold Wing, I ride a 1500 with a sidecar and I added driver floor boards and highway boards and can easily stretch out while running down the road
also I just recently bought a Yamaha Royal Star venture for my wife, it has an outrigger kit on it, it is water cooled and is a 1300 so it has decent power and handles nice.
I will say that even though it's water cooled that V twin engine being exposed and the pipes dropping off the side like it does will generate a good bit more heat than my Wing does
But it's not as bad as I expected it to be. Being here in the south we get some hot days as well so I feel you pain
Good luck hopefully you will find just what your looking for

Leslie... Welcome to TrikeTalk from the Texas Hill Country!
Must admit...it surprised me to know that the 2007 C-90 was air/oil cooled...per its spec sheet. I had a 2007 C-50 that was liquid cooled and am just blown away that the C-90 was not also. I see that the 2019 C-90 is now liquid-cooled.
What about a Kawasaki 1700 Nomad, Vaquero, Voyager? Wondering if the leg position might put you further out. I had the 1700 Nomad - QUITE a bike!
I now have a Gold Wing 1800 trike and am comfortable with the touring position as I have a shorter leg reach and understand a tall rider being cramped on it, but I can stretch out on the highway pegs when needed. Also, a different seat might put you further back.
Good luck with your search and keep us informed of what you come up with!

Just a thought.Honda VTX makes a sweet trike i'm told. The 1300 is definately liquid cooled.
