Well, two Congress critters filed this bill yesterday to ban Assault Weapons and other semi automatic weapons (a lot of pistols). If the Democrats win in November our 2nd ammendent rights are toast in my humble opinion.

The gun grabbers are getting too greedy by going after every semi auto made, and then some. Too much will get them none!:p
All is not immediately lost though, as Trump still has veto power IF somehow the GOP doesn't hold the house & senate beyond the "mid terms"....
My Goodness! They put an amazing amount of work into a document that has not an iota of a possibility of passing anywhere at any time for the sole purpose of being able to say "The Republicans don't care about the children"!!
Prohibiting all semi auto rifles and pistols while articulating a list of guns NOT banned such as lever action or slide-fire or over/under. 126 pages of nonsense for political posturing.
Democrats are like un-disciplined, whiny children and they certainly are slow learners!!!
I just became a felon. Have 2 semi-auto Browning shot guns for bird hunting, which under that bill, are illegal. Own 2 bump stocks, 27 pairs of pants w/belt loops and 2 thumbs which act the same, if not better, than a bump stock. Several HC magazines.

This is what happens when law enforcement doesn't do their job, then get on national TV for a press conference (Broward CO sheriff) and blame gun laws. I just wonder how much more money his retirement account has in it than it did on Feb. 13th.:Shrug:

Let me explain something about active shooter scenarios that may help in understanding why there could be confusion during a shooting.
I know this basic information because my youngest son is a Federal agent for the NGA & teaches classes all over the country.
For a long time, officers were taught to gather at the scene & form a perimeter.
That changed after Columbine in Colorado.
Older officers or officers not recently trained may not be up on the latest standard operating procedures for an active shooter scenario.
It's best to wait till the facts come out before hanging someone out to dry.
There will be time for that later, if need be.
There does seem to be an awfully lot of copycats these days for some reason. More so than in the past I feel. Are people that easily swayed in this new world? I agree though, if they started executing these slime-balls I bet it would curb the number.:mad::mad::mad:

And they know the punishment does NOT fit their crimes

I've been saying that for years. There is NOTHING to make these kids straighten up and fly right. Execute a few and watch how fast this crap stops. Fear works. Why do you think the liberals have tried to totally remove executions. They know they are candidates because they have such low morals. We have plenty of people. More prisons= more prisoners and more expense
I can't understand why they go after the gun after a shooting. This kid in Florida, had so red flag coming from him. And nobody turned him in. From the first 20 or so contacts with Law Enforcement, that should have put him on the NICS list. The Doctor's (mental health) that evaluate these kid's should be a mandatory reporting to the NICS authorities. This crap is making us honest people look bad, and we are the one's that are going to pay for it. God help us if we lose the majority in the congress.

Oh heck yes. When, not if this happens, it's all over. Russia or China will just walk in and take over. Heck, maybe it will even be Mexico. The little darlings on the left will say to their dying breath, "wait, you can't do that" and that will be the extent of their resistance. They've already proven they'll let criminals loose to do the very same thing that put them in prison in the first place. Yep, it will be all over. I just hope and pray to God it never happens but unfortunately I know for fact there are far too many that refuse to vote so it won't happen. And it's that right there that will kill this country. Yesterday I encountered a 30 something snowflake who was ranting and raving about the NRA and how she hates that company. I asked her to tell me what "NRA" stands for.
She said she didn't know, but it's the company that makes all of the weapons that kill people.
That's the power of Facebook, Twitter, etc. Lots of followers repeating useless information that everybody knows must be true because it's trending right now on Instagram or whatever!!!
