Not for me, don't think it would fit in the holster either. It's all in your Grip, that's all you need, good firm grip.
I'm with you Sully, not practical for CCW
It would probably be useful on my .44 magnum, but the revolver doesn't have a rail.
Gimmick
You can stay on target by practicing. More lead down range increases accuracy.
