The is the key :
1) use a rear tire the same size that you removed from the front rim.
2) use a bias ply tire only.
3 mounting direction suggested is reverse mounting, this is an opinion
Some do some don't,
4) Any brand rear bias ply tire works better than the original radial

I like the BT45 also. Smoother riding and less noise than the MPA. Also if you put the 2 next to each other the BT45 has more girth and looks like a front tire on a trike should look. The MPA looks anemic next to the BT45.

tires are a matter of personal preference...I've got an 03-1800 bought used in 05..with 26,141 miles..Now,it has 121,500 miles and just last month got it's [COLOR="Red"][U]5th[/U][/COLOR]Michelon Pilot Activa..With an ave. like that,I'd never reccomend anything else..I've been told by Skuuter, that I go a little too far but so far so good
