Vance and Hines FuelPak, is it worth the trouble?

[B]After I took possession of my used 2015 Tri Glide with 5000 miles from the dealer, I noticed a V&H FuelPak in the trunk. The bike does have after market pipes (Hash Pipes) but I have not found any other performance accessories on the bike. The dealer went through the bike with a fine tooth comb due to some issues it had so I am "assuming" that they tuned the bike as it is. I have not noticed any performance issues so far. So should I put the FuelPak back on or should I just enjoy the ride?[/B]

I would check with your dealer. It could be that the module is in the trunk because it has a V&H FP3 tune on it and that is the module for the bike. It doesn't need to be constantly connected to have a FP tune on it. I would download the App for it and plug the module in and see what it has on it for a tune. You can run an Autotune which will tune the ECM for the way you ride and if you don't like it you can restore the current tune. No harm, no foul.

I had a FP3 on my Ultra Classic. It only had stage 1 air filter and cat removed and after market mufflers. I ran the auto tune... It made a big difference. The only way you can tell if its had a tune on it , is to plug the little module in and access it with your phone... It will let you know whats loaded..
