mystery design problems
Hello. I built a FXR trike for my handicapped son back in 2010. Straight axel, mystery design, Iron horse front end with 3 degree rake.
Modified Evo. engine, 5 speed with reverse. Recently pulled rear wheels to adjust chain and clean rear disk. Found inside rims coated with grease, seems to coming from seals on end of axel. Any advise? Can not find web site for Mystery Design. Pictures during construction.

Their website is down so I'm not sure if they are still in business, but on their Facebook page the contact number is (214) 467-0991.

Pull the axle out, if the seal is behind the bearing you will need a new seal and bearing. That will be a press fit bearing. There should be ID numbers on the bearing and seal
Welcome to Trike Talk and good Luck:clapping:

Welcome & best of luck fixing the problem. I recently got bearings for swivel lawn chairs just by pulling & getting the # , I would think you can do the same with seals. Just locate the # & go to a bearing distributor.
