New to the group. I want to add Kuryakyn chrome speaker trim to my trike. The directions say to remove the speaker grills. Can this be done from the outside of the fairing, or does the fairing need to be removed? Thanks in advance

From my Service manual for my 17 TG it says to remove the outer fairing and then the speaker enclosures to get to the screws that hold the grill on.

If you look at the HD pages it appears the grilles are held on with double back tape
Look here, are these your stock speakers and grille?

Thanks for the welcome and the share. I think the problem could be the difference in designs through the years. I will keep this in mind as a possible solution

Thanks for the welcome and the info.
Dennis, welcome aboard from Texas.
Looking over things, I guess the old sage advice of throwing away or ignoring instructions holds. I can only guess that the instructions were written for a different model and it would not be necessary to remove the speaker grills. I greatly appreciate all the responses and even more the welcomes to Trike talk.
