We've got 4.53 inches so far this month. 1.17 of that just today. It's crazy. I don't think we've seen the end yet either.
More coming ... raining here .. and it's on it's way to you guys. Be safe ... adding Texas, and all those that could be in it's path, to the prayer list.
2018 Set a record in NJ, With an average of 64.09 inches for the year state wide...
In my Town we had 73.70 inches for the year.....And so far [2019] we are at 17.7 inches.......

I drove through that storm this morning from Kerrville to Midland...it was BAD!
Between Junction and Menard I thought either the car was going to be struck by ligtning or the intense rain would sweep me off the road.
I kept an eye on the 2 big trucks ahead of me as they had their emergency flashers on and it made them much easier to see. We were only moving at 40-45mph in the worst of it. I thought the hazard flashers were a good idea so I turned mine on also for anyone coming up behind me.

Hmmmm ... getting BBQ again ... I think you may have it worse than me .... nah
We had rain for a good share of the day, getting a short break right now then heavy rain and high winds through the night. We're in the middle of a farming community, they're really struggling to get anything planted. Please keep these farmers in your prayers, they're feeding us!

We got our small pool out of shut-down winter mode and back to operational mode. And we too have had so much that we didn't have to add much water at all. We are ready for that summer heat. All this rain will soon just shut off like a faucet. Question is when. This is looking like the 2007 draught breaker.
The real bad thing about big storms in my part of the country is the hail. A couple nights ago in a couple small towns close by (50 miles) got softball sized hail. Some were even the size of a grapefruit. One fellow I was visiting with at our beer and burger hang said his neighbor had a softball sized hail stone go thru his garage roof, thru the interior drywall and bust his car windshield. I've been caught out in some of the storms on a bike and even got caught in the bad storm that hit Sturgis a few years ago. Got into pea and marble sized but nothing like we're seeing now. That could be deadly.
Not to mention the tornado's that also have been developing!!!
