Hey Bill the tool is on its way......When you get it you might have to clean it a little, it was in the top box of both my 11 and 17 T/G collecting dust.......:D

This is one of the first things I change on my bikes
The HD joints are just plain JUNK:laugh:

The first thing I replace when I bring a new bike/ trike home for sure
I also drill, tap and install a grease fitting in the primary housing where the shift shaft runs thru, it helps make a smooth shift thru all the linkage
Here is another area HD went cheap on IMO
