XM Radio Mod. Kit
Anyone have the part numbers that fits for the Boom XM/Sirius Mod. Kit, the one that attaches to the radio. And is there any issues with the under fairing antenna, because my Garmin 665 had issue that the hockey puck antenna. Or am I looking at a Satellite radio that is different, confused:gah:

Re: XM Radio Mod. Kit
Boy after reading this, I'm really confused. Lets see, I have a Garmin 665 with the XM mounted on the dash. During the 3 month free trial, the XM did not receive reception most of the time and no volumn was having to turn the speakers all the way up. I would turn it on and it would work for a minute then go off and never come back on for days. Finally at the end of the 3 month trial, the dealer finally agreeded to move the antenna inside the fairing. Two days later the trial was out and I couldn't really test the XM. I called XM and tried to get a better rate since I have it in my Silverado, but NOOOOO, no deal with them, no discounts. So, my script with them runs out in March, and I will not renew in the truck. But, if they should agree to a better rate for the truck and trike, then I would want to install the kit into the radio.
I would like the part numbers others have used to do theirs. I do understand the antenna is again under the fairing but seems toget better reception and the volumn is no issue this way. Plus the handlebar controls work the XM.
