Empi brake rotors
Working on my Empi disc brake kit. I installed new brake lines. The one on the right was bad. Changed both. A bitch. Worked on the left side first. I didn't remember the rotor hard to get on but I like to have never got it off. I knocked it off with my dead blow hammer. I think I put grease on the splines when I put it on but it was hard to get off. I was wondering if anyone knows how to loosen it up where it goes on easier. I figure it should slide on and off pretty easy. Any suggestions? Thanks

Ouch, smackin them rotors can knock em out of round
You could use a cheap 2 or 3 jaw puller from Harbor Freight to get them off
Splines can be a real pain some times

Empi brake rotors
Heck, Jack they are out a little anyway. Maybe I will knock them back straight. I don't think the drums fit that tight. It is probably the rotors . I am sure they aren't built like they are supposed to be. Probably no Quality Control. I'll just work with them.

Sometimes when grease gets hot, It will dry up and act like lock-tite...Never seize would be better, Just don't use too much.....Especially if you are using it on Dissimilar metals....
