Insurance and licensing in BC
I recently brought up the subject of whether or not Trikes are actually Street Legal in B.C. (Canada).
The closest answer I have found (outside of calling the I.C.B.C office) is in a pdf from the province insurance office.

It does not offer a great deal of information, but from what I've read trikes are street legal, would fall under the class of "scooter" and not as a limited-speed (under 50cc) so therefore require class 6 or 8 Drivers license.

I ride a trike on Vancouver Island and yes, they are legal. You were kidding, right?
