Stallion Mirrors
Does anyone happen to know what is a good replacement for the
stallion mirrors. Was at the store yesterday and someone had bumped
my passenger side mirror hard enough to knock it completely off and
all the clips that hold it on are broken off. Have tried to put the clips
back in place with no luck .. My first thought was to just goop up all
three sockets with JBWeld Quick Weld and see if it would be enough
to hold the mirror on once it dried ..
Any thoughts greatly appreciated ..

The problem you're going to run into is the mounting design for that specific mirror. It's NOT a common set up in the aftermarket world & is an older motorcycle mirror. Short side of it is you're basically going to have to re-engineer the wheel if you want to change the mirror set up. Plus, you may go through several different mirror designs before you find one you like, that fits like you'd expect, & gives you a good rear view.
Not saying you won't find anything, but it may just be easier to order the mirror parts you need from BMW and just fix yours.

Thanks .... Just got through beating my feeble brain to pieces,
shimming the broken clips with pieces of popcicle sticks and
JB Weld to hold them in place and got the mirror popped back
on ... THat is re-engineering ....
