This has already been done on Goldwings. Hannigan offers their 180 front end kit which is a new wheel and car tire but IIRC, it's a several thousand dollar option because not only does it require new wheel and hardware but new triple tree to accommodate the increased width of the forks to handle the wider tire. There is also the leading link front end but I don't know too much about it.
I will say that I'm really surprised that the Harley version would only cost around $750. I would think it would be tremendously higher in cost.
Thanks - I didn't know they were already on the Wings.
From what I learned on Saturday, Harley has put a kit together that adjust the front folks - so, they don't have to be replaced. You will however have to replace the entire fender (and have it painted to match). Everything else is supposed to fit right in.
There should be an article coming out near the middle of March about this - hopefully it will include some prices and more details. I showed the front end to my wife, and she has already told me no. She will be driving the trike too - so, I will have to listen to her.

Avon Tire
I’ve got a 2008 Goldwing CSC trike with the Avon “trike” tire on the front. I’ve got 25000+ miles on the tire and still have wear left!
