Yep, had the blackout one on my freewheeler "Fireball"
Could additionally add the light bar as well, some minor drilling required to route wiring for power

That looks like the air wing luggage rack. I'm wondering if the premium luggage rack will fit. Thanks for the reply with pix.

Amazon has more reasonable racks, https://www.amazon.com/Benlari-Luggage-Motorcycle-Compatible-1984-2021/dp/B099K56C3L/ref=sr_1_24?crid=3G7NE3M4YCUVN&keywords=harley+luggage+rack&qid=1659456111&sprefix=Harley+luggage+%2Caps%2C145&sr=8-24
There is also $40. one ,but not as good.
The dimensions shown on Amazon sure look right, but angles and length of mounting stems… no idea. Just wondering what you would gain with this rack over the Freewheeler specific one. You would lose the ability to add the lighting later on if you so desired.
I know you didn’t ask for opinions but I’d just go with the air wing.

Well, my wife has a Freewheeler and I have a King luggage rack. I'd be interested in the answer.
This is an old photo before I made other additions to the bike, but it shows what you wanted to see.

I have a T Bag Dekker supreme bag that doesn't fit on a air wing rack. I agree the ability to add the light is a great option but I like using this bag it has a ton of storage. Thus the question.
I wouldn't go to crazy on adding weight to that trunk lid. The most I ever had on my Airwing is about 25lb. Thats rack, ,carrier and dog. I think thats pushing it. I would be watching for stress cracks when adding more weight.

I always keep the weight under 25 pounds but do keep a bulky riding jacket and leather overpants in there on long trips.
Looking at the Air Wing Luggage Rack - Freewheeler models on the HD web site. Its length is 2" longer and its width is 1" wider. Its is bigger than the Air Wing luggage rack for the tour-pak so my bag may fit on it better. If not I may just have use the airwing rack for the Free and get a different bag. I'll start a new post on which bag people are using. Thanks
I've found this bag meets my needs nicely and it is watertight.
Any one use this cobra luggage rack?

I've been looking into that for awhile. I prefer the looks of it and the price is better, but I have yet to decide if I want or need a rack on the back. Everything I carry fits in the trunk.
If you're not traveling there's probably not a need for a luggage rack. I rarely used mine around town on my old bike.
My pickup rarely gets used as a truck and my luggage rack rarely gets used for luggage. To me, it’s worth having a rack for a mount for run/stop lights and a handle for lifting and latching the trunk lid. The only known “side affect” is that a little more effort is needed for cleaning and polishing.
On my Triglide I use the rack as a handle to lift the top box cover and to hold on to it so as not to slam down the cover……But it also is a place to lay my coat on when I’m parked in my garage and the engine and pipes are hot..
I use my luggage rack quite a bit. And its nice to have the CD brake light mounted there. My FLRT is used mostly for running errands around town and visiting the widow ladies. They're wearing me out.
