battery
Good morning
I need to replace my battery again. just wondered if anyone has found a battery that holds up to the abuse it gets under stallion. my last 2 lasted 3 years each which is pretty good. I picked medium priced battery with 2 year warranty. does a cheaper one last just as long:drama:
Thanks

I went to Pep Boys and got a Bosch AGM. I figured being over the back axle it would get bounced around quite a bit. Nothing to slosh around in them. It's been in for 2 years and still working. Rick

I replaced my OEM battery in 2015, seven years on it. Installed a Walmart Everstart then and that is what I
am still running on.

When you get your new battery, buy a battery tender and also think about installing jumper posts in the trunk on the left back wall so it can easily aid in a jump start for you or others as well as connecting the tender. Tomg

Me too. I got the posts with covers from Jegs. I have several of these I use on different vehicles. https://www.pulsetech.net/xc100-p-xtreme-charge-12v-battery-maintenance-charger-desulfator.html

Good morning
The battery gods have smiled on me. I purchased a duralast gold 3 year warranty. i
I still had 3 months left on warranty. They gave me a brand new battery:clapping:. now if i can only fix the rest of electric gremlins, digital display, cruise control don't work even after replacing master cylinder with new sensor, switches:blush:. oh well can't really go anywhere anyway:gah:

Check the cam on top of the cruise control unit. Mine was stuck and I couldn't get the cruise to work. I lubed it, broke it free and everything worked. I also had to replace the buttons on the steering wheel. They're not made to be out in the elements. Rick
