I have a 2012 Gl1800 and one of the rear shocks is starting to leak a little and I would like to know if anyone has replaced one of these yet with something other than one from Champion.
Thanks

Can you tell me which springs are on them?
ALSO.....check Kalamazoo CL MotorcycleParts
Great Thank you
Champion started with Blue springs. Then they did yellow like yours and a few years ago they switched to the ICON that have Red springs. They all fit the IRS. Check My post you (JimsGL1800) replied to about adjustments a couple weeks ago 8/28. there's a pic of them. That's what's available now from Champion. Let me know what you think.
Ok, Thank you for the information.

Hello Jim. Happy New Year! Did you ever get your shock situation resolved? I still have the New pair we discussed but never heard anything more from you .

2 questions, I bought this little girl last year and love it. Question since you guys are talking suspension...This is a Champion conversion with IRS. Honestly coming off a two wheeler I find the ride very "rigid". Is that typical or should the ride be smooth? What lube am I buying to lube the drive shaft U-joints?
Ron…Welcome to Trike Talk...With 3 wheels on the ground the ride will never be as smooth as a 2 wheel bike….With 3 wheels one will always hit a pothole whereas with 2 wheels you can avoid them..

Thank you, Sorry for the delay on replying to this massage. I sent you a message back in January and never heard back from you, so I figured someone else already purchased them. I did more research on mine after going to a car wash on a nice day and really cleaning the rear end and apparently the previous owner of the bike has soaked the shocks with some kind of oil to free up the adjusters. After the shocks were clean, I have not seen any oil leaking out of them in over 300 miles.
But I will keep you in mind in case I decide to have a backup pair.

Hi Jim, Yes I do still have them and have been going to put them on ebay but haven't as of yet. I don't check this often but let me know if you would like them I'm sure we could work something out.
Thanks Rod
Best way to contact me would be Text520 27985o9 for some reason PM does not work for me.
