". maybe on a honda.. but not a harley." really ??? what are you trying to say exactly????

There is a reason the Richland kit costs less than half of what a reputable conversion kit costs. Sometimes you get exactly what you pay for.:shok:

Sir - I am hopeful that the person for whom you are doing the install does not read this site. I see this is your first and only post.
Perhaps this is something he/she wants or, what they can afford. If you are a great repair shop and truly believe this kit is that bad, perhaps you might consider turning down to offer to install it. Or, it is all about the money for you?

......or he might choose to install it while paying attention to areas he sees as a problem and doing what he can, to bring it "up to snuff" Sharp edges are easy to deal with. Poor welding can be addressed by hogging out the bad welds with a die grinder(where possible) and re-welding. All the re-work is sure to add to the cost!
Further to this post, I just checked YouTube for more info and didn't realize this is an "outrigger" kit. I'm not an expert by any stretch, being on my second trike. I'm not a fan of these types of conversions. I rode one and didn't like it. I've ridden BMW (mine) H-D's (mine & a buddy's) and a Honda (Buddy's) All were superior to the outrigger! I can however see the appeal for a rider on a budget.
