Maiden Voyage
I took the trike out today for a short ride in the neighborhood. The good news.... I made it back in one piece, and the trike handled fine. The bad news... All of my lights and horn stopped working. It didn't keep it from running. I looked over the wiring, but it is a mess, and I knew that going in. There are some wires dangling some not connected, some pulled apart with the slightest tug. Any ideas how to approach fixing this? Every circuit has its own inline fuse.
I pulled the gauge panel, and another wire pulled out of the crimp.
Thanks for any suggestions!

A lot of work, but I'd start with a fuse block and rewire everything using soldiered connectors and heat shrink wrap. Use color coding and document and take lots of pictures. Also, dielectric grease on any connector. Big job, but it will pay huge dividends in reliability.

Yep, pretty much what Fuzzy just stated. Tear it all out and start from scratch!

It can be a lot of work or a fun time
My wiring will be redone as well. What a mess!

Thanks for the replies! I will make it fun and take the opportunity to relocate the wiring where I can have better access to it. Any idea how many circuits I need in my fuse block?

Honestly it all depends on how much accessories, lights, etc... that your running.
You'll want a circuit for your ignition, head light(s), tail lights, brakes/turn signals, and one for your accessories. Most of the trikes/bikes/vehicles that I have done I usually end up with 6 to 8 circuits.
Actually our own member Fowler has a pretty decent wiring diagram on his trike site. Hmm, not finding it right off the top here.

Yeah.....well.....
Dont copy my wiring.
At least not until it works anyway.

My diagrams worked good for me and a few others although I do have a duplicate # on the horn (39) Did not see that until I was to that part of wiring it

Many thanks to Fowler for putting up something useful.*
Thank you for your efforts documenting your details of the build.
