More torque and HP
I have been laid up with COV19. Wife and I both. We have now tested negative and are over it. Both over 65 it gave us a fight but we made it.
before it hit just I had made plans to do some work on the RGU. HD decided to close the dealership I have used half a life time. I decided to tell HD I am done with them.
Out of respect for those that work there and the own I ask them to do a CAM chest upgrade and oil pump on mine. But not to use any HD parts.
The answer was a S&S 465C cam chest kit with S&S oil pump. As many of you know sidecar rigs put more wear on bike than those with out. At 44,000 miles I wanted to freshen it up.
It just made sense to do it all while in there.
The 465C CAm gave me a big increase in torque and HP over all of the RMP range I used and then some. To this I added Fuel moto 4 inch Black Jack pot mufflers ans S&S stealth AC with adapter plate for using stock AC cover. Using my power vision tuner load a tune provided by Fuel Moto. Bike ran great from fist start.
Still run down from the virus just picked it up yesterday and wen to bed. Today from energy to take it out. It gave all the was expected and then some. I never have any issues tugging the big sidecar stock . But this is going to make it fly.
Plan to ride it a bit with sidecar off until weather gets worst. Then lock it up for a full winter clean up.
HP went from 74.17 to 95
Torque went from 93.20 to 114.38

Glad to hear you're getting over IT. Bike sounds like a beast now.

I am amazed with the torque right from letting the clutch out. Worth while work IMO. Timing was right the stock CAM was showing face wear on the lobes. The plugs had 30K on them all looked good.

Mighty MIKE
Glad to hear you and wife are getting better. Everyone stay safe and healthy.
I look outside sun shinning and a beautiful day but the virus is out there just waiting.
Getting real tired of it. Hope they can get the vaccine out to the public real soon as wife and I
both have under lying conditions. :(

Wish you both the best and will pray for you. When you know you have other conditions extra cafe is needed.

Thanks getting stronger a little each day. If is fun taking a few rides on it with sidecar off. I have a lot of clean up to do once it gets locked up for winter. While Cam chest was getting done had a new Car tire installed on bike rear. The Michelin A/S did a good job but it wore out fast About 11,000 miles . The first hankook 426 wore a bit better about 14,000 miles. Went with an Hankook Optimo H7272, 80,000 mile tire . We will see how it does.
