Well, pulled the string and purchased a new truck and an enclosed trailer to haul and store my trike during the winter. It is going to kill me to haul my girl in the trailer but I'm sure I will get used to it. So, the fleet is complete. Now just to set up my trailer to hold a few thing that may be needed while traveling.... 1st planned trip....Maggie Valley. Looks good Dennis:clapping::D Its pretty close to being color coordinated too. Truck & trailer need some black "wrap" to make it fully so...?
Something else to consider, maybe: Does the truck & or trailer have any security built in, ie: Lojack, alarms, or something similar?
I had a bud who not long ago, got his truck & trailer with racecar, tools, etc., stolen from the motel parking lot he was staying at. Never saw any of it again.
It sucks that thieves are literally everywhere, & nothing is really safe even if locked...

I didn't read anything about a delay in your retirement? Did I miss something, or is it that your first trip will be Maggie Valley. Congrats on pulling the pin, have you found time to relax yet?

Big Dog, my retirement may be delayed due to the purchase of the new Tundra..... Keeping my fingers crossed that it won't be a long delay. If they decide not to finish the nuclear plant in GA like the just did in SC, I may be unemployed by February along with everyone else in this shop.
Of course, that would free up some time to ride!! There is always a positive side to every story.:D

My decision to pack it in [Retire] was made easy when my finance guy said why are you still working, What with driving into Manhattan every day and paying tolls/gas and rent for my midtown office and the garage parking .....And then when the owner of the of the building i had my shop in [47St/5Th Ave] said if you leave by the end of the month, I'll let you out of the 17 months left on the lease...I was outta there like Sherman took Atlanta............:xszpv:
