Time for a Change
Hey guys! Gonna put the VW up for sale pretty soon. I'm gonna miss her, she's been a helluva ride. Been all over the country on that bike, but it's time for a change. I'm getting to a point where I can't do things like I used to, and the old homebuilt has gotten to be too much to keep up with. So I recently bought an '86 Electra Glide with a Lehman conversion and I'm hoping it'll be a little less time in the garage and a little more time in the wind.
Now this doesn't mean I'm "buggin' out" on my buds here on the VW page. I've learned a ton here and made a lot of friends and good contacts, and I plan to cruise the page regularly. Knowledge is priceless, and while the vast majority of you have forgotten more than I'll ever know, if I get a chance to pass on what I've learned here I'd be honored and humbled to do so.
See you guys and gals in the wind!
PEACE and ride safe! :Dorag:

Sorry to hear you've given up on the VW powered trike Doug.
Not saying this is the case with yours, but sometimes they can be labor/parts intensive if the various stock & aftermarket components put together on a homebuilt don't get along perfectly & in sync with one another. That is truly one of the biggest challenges in keeping one on the road in a trouble-free state.
Guess you'll need a new avatar now to match your new ride?
Hope you get what you're looking for $ wise for the VW, and enjoy riding the new to you Harley.ThumbUp
