Not located in the UK, but ships there I do believe. You'll have to copy/paste as I couldn't get a link to post:
vwparts.aircooled.net
Hope that helps...

ell i got the bits i wanted and freed off the accelerator pump ball that was gummed up. Fitted and tried, started great but will not tick over, it drop in revs then putters out unless you catch it i am guessing that one of the internal fuel ways is still blocked.............shit !
Well have now bit the bullet and bought a new one. Just waiting for delivery now.
Yep, sometimes nothing a person does will fix a problem in a carb. There are times when a dang new one is the only answer. :p

The symptom you describe sounds like the idle control solenoid could be bad.
The solenoid is a small cylindrical shaped piece, with one power wire in, located on the lower left (throttle cable) side. It threads into the carb.
Easy fix, so don't scrap the carb until you check the solenoid!

:Agree: I had a idle solenoid go bad on a 71 VW... Same symptoms, Would not hold an idle and stall out so i had to keep the revs up over an idle till i replaced it...
