talking about reverse stater motor sorry. checked cable connections everything checked out.solonoid clicks motor drags .bike going back to dealer.i was told starter made by hitachi. bike only has 700 miles.

YEP... Search reverse motor.. You'll get an eye full... And yes it is an Hitachi.....

guys thank you for your help.got on bike today reverse worked perfect.probably bad conection.going to dealer monday.ill keep you pasted thank you again.
Keep in mind, DON'T use your break when backing, make sure the parking break is off, and try not to back up going up hill for any distance.

Just had to put a reverse motor in my wifes 2011 streetglide trike. A $1,200 part:mad: Not sure if the same brand that is on the Free Wheeler but a very expensive fix. It is identical to a starter off a small block chevy. A lot of money for a modified stock starter.

Check the Reverse Relay under the right side panel. Mine did the exact same thing. Reset the relay per the instructions in the Owner's Manual and it works fine.
