January Snowbird Welcome in Florida
Planning on making arraingments for a group to spend a day or two in the Sarasota, Florida area. The time frame is in the last two weeks, the exact time is yet to be set. So far I have fourteen members that have expressed an interest, some from as far away as Colorado. :Excited:
So if you are going to be in the area, get in touch, and let's plan the first TT Rally of 2013. :wave4:

Re: January Snowbird Welcome in Florida
will advise when the date is set. looking good for now fred
Re: January Snowbird Welcome in Florida
Dates for Snowbird TT Welcome are January 25-26,2013. That gives time for a ride, some catching up with old and new friends, eats, and drinks.
We can add time on either end if needed, or wanted by anyone.

Re: January Snowbird Welcome in Florida
That sure sounds intresting Big Dog.Have to write it on the calender.Would invite Skutter, but don't know if he can ride flat roads or not.RIDE SAFE:Shrug:
Re: January Snowbird Welcome in Florida
I've been working (phone) with BigDog on this and we came up with a better deal at the Sarasota Ramada Waterfront. The food is great, tiki bar with music, waterfront marine and short hop to the center of town. Sarasota has been on the Food channel several times with some real nice places to eat. The beaches are some of the best in Florida and it's only a short hop over the Skyway or Sunshine bridge (not sure what it's called) to St Pete also. Fred (BigDog) will be posting something else on this in a couple of days.

Hi Big Dog & other trikers. We will try to make this one in Jan. But. I got to tell you my record for making these rallys isn't good. I missed the first two northeast rallies. I hope it's not going to be strike 3. On this one LOL. I do run batting cages all summer so I shouldn't strike out. We will be in the Ocala area Jan. & Feb.
Hope to meet yous. thanks, Captain. H

If you ride east and south a little, let me know as there are several other Stallion riders in the area that get together every now and then.

Re: January Snowbird Welcome in Florida
Went and checked out some places to eat, and a couple of rides. Looks like The Old Salty Dog, on City Island, is a for sure. Been there several times, biker fiendly, pet friendly, and on the water. Check the menu and pictures at The Old Salty Dog - Sarasota, Florida . I have enjoyed Yoder's, it's a family style Amish resturant and craft store. Their pies are famous around the world, ask Blondie Girl! :pepper:
There are so many things in the area to do, please let me know you plan on coming. Looking to have several options available to choose from.
