That's what was said in 014 when the new Indian first hit the streets. Not only still here, but growing. But this new engine has Victory all over it as far as I am concerned. So I think they've merged Victory into the Indian line-up. But you'll not hear them say it.
No disrespect intended, I like what I have.

I understand trying to stay American Made supporting our own machinsts. But its hard to see mistakes made by USA builders get slammed more than other machines. Im also disappointed to see small mistakes like hot exhaust under the seat on the Indian, but look what Vic has overcame in a short time compared to others.
Mechs made a good living on low time Hardlys and ford diesels for 40/50 years ?
hardly is still 20 years behind a GL1800, try the mountains pulling a trailer I never owned a forn car or truck but the GL1800 was foundry to all the machining by Americans in Ohio plant under one roof. I owned a Tool & Die shop 41 years. I did all the design and mold building myself. Nothing matters pretty soon anyway with our USA going down the toilet unless we stand up along all roads.
IMHO there wont be a trustworthy V twin better than the Indian for another generation. Keyword, roadworthy.
I have friends who have new trikes by other Vtwins that can Not trust them away from home, breakdowns...2 time Nam vet also, pilot engineer
Last year When I was shopping for a trike at Roadsmith , They had several Indian trikes they just completed.
They were beautiful. The paint & finish looked so much better than the Wings they had there.
The engines looked great to
Well Monday will be 2 years I have had my Indian & my warranty will be up, Used it a few times to have check engine light shut off, sometimes the light comes on for no reason, Now with the pv3 I just clear it and its all good. I have had no problems with the Indian at all. I have done a lot of upgrades, Have a really good tune now, runs great, has really good power, good mpgs. & it RIDES GREAT !
This has been the best trike I have had. I had 5 Harleys & 1 GL1800, GL1800 was a great trike. The CSC part of my Indian has had problems, Bad paint, Bad differential, Bad rear wheel bearings & A Bad Shock. The GL 1800 had a bad rear shock & bad rear wheel bearings & was a CSC. I paid for & did all the repairs except the shock was replaced under warranty I installed it, the dealer paid me to repaint it. I think I will keep this one for a while. I have a little over 18000 miles on it, I still work full time 6 days a week. :D:D:D
