Not knowing what the cap looks like or the size of it......Just an idea outa left field here but i almost lost the 60+ dollar gas cap on my Slingshot after getting gas and driving off...So i thought it would be wise to keep an extra in the glove box, So i went to Lowes and in the lawn mower aisle i found a perfect fit for 5 bucks to keep just in case..
measure your tank's filler neck and check out their collection of caps.... ......
Or you can do like we did in the olden days, Just stuff a rag in the filler neck...Just remember if you smoke, Make sure you flip the lit cigarette out on the opposite side of the tank.. :D....
Good suggestion Rhino, I will do that tomorrow, Saturday. Road Smith says the people that made this cap was done two years ago, so you know how that goes. There's a kit available that requires a mod from RS, we're probably speaking big dollars. Sucks that RS has no inventory, but I can't complain, I lost the cap. Thanks again for the suggestion.
It's a marine industry product. Measure across the filler hole and search boating supply sites.
