Maybe H.D. is shooting themselves in the foot, maybe not.There are plenty of used bikes out there where warranty is a long gone issue. Customize to your hearts content.H.D. motors can be resurrected, especially shovelheads by anyone with some mechanical skills, even factoring farming out stuff like flywheel balancing. My '76 SuperGlide is still goin strong and I do all the work myself.No one needs a new H.D.-but we want them!
