Trike install
Good Morning to everyone,
I have decided to purchase my first Goldwing and have it converted into a Hannigan trike , I live close to Hannigan Motorsports (2hr) but discovered UNB customs in North Carolina..has anyone dealt with either one of these shops and I would greatly appreciate any advice on which way to go for the install. Thank you in advance for your help!

Toured the Hannigan facility prior to having my Hannigan installed.
Know nothing about the other you mentioned
Had my conversion done else where because I was offered a substantial discount.

Hello and :welcome: to Trike Talk, glad to have U with us. :clapping:
Me personally, I'd have it done by the Hannigan factory. You'll have no delays with the conversion work, as a retired builder if you don't inventory the parts right away you could have missing fasteners/parts or the wrong ones and that means a delay. The body would be painted in their (Hannigan) shop and would be spot on, with an independent shop unless they have a top notch painter you'll not have the same results. This is the time for conversion work autumn/winter, as everything slows down and you beat the spring/summer rush when orders back up.
I would go to the factory for the work to be done.

Welcome to Trike Talk Glenn! I too agree with Trike Lady. I would take it directly to the Hannigan factory.

Hi Glenn, :welcome:to Trike Talk
Trike Lady has given you solid info, she is a trusted source of info. Good Luck;)

Hello Glenn! Welcome to TrikeTalk and congrats on your big decisions.
For all the reasons stated, and if it was anywhere reasonably accessible to me, I would sure let the factory make the conversion. If for no other reason... peace of mind as to whether or not I got a good installer.

Just curious, are you purchasing a new Goldwing and doing a conversion or looking to purchase a used wing and doing a conversion :wave4:

I am planning on purchasing a new 2019 DCT and having the install done...

Try Russellville Honda in Russellville Ark. they have several new 1800 wings trikes. Not sure if they have Hannigan conversion. They are a good dealer.

Have it done at Hannigan. Brad and crew really know what they are doing. Very helpful if you need questions answered.
