Hey all,
The way it's going here in New England this year we may have to put chains on the trikes this year......all this snow is too much and we have another storm coming in on Sunday night through Tuesday....
I invited some people who are new trike owners to this years rally but it looks like the B&B is almost filled up. I'm sure a lot of people haven't made plans for summer yet but is someone working on an alternate site to stay at. The B&B doesn't show TT as a special weekend so does anyone know if the rooms that are reserved are for TT members or are we sharing the B&B with another group? If some of the rooms are for another group or even if we have filled the B&B by now, there doesn't seem to be any other options close by or at least reasonably priced.
If anyone is working on this let us know, hate to tell someone they can't go because of lack of room.
Thanks,
dougv
If you call the Grey Ghost Inn, I'm pretty sure that the owner has a nearby inn or motel that she will refer you to that will take her overfill . We have booked all her rooms and she has a friend who book us in their place.
I found it , i had to go to my computer lol. Looks like quite a group.. we are so excited.

***Please note that payment will be collected by the Inn - this sign up is for rally staff information only!!
While I registered that I would be there a while ago, I was slacking off...until today. Just made my reservation at the Pink With Purple Polka Dots Ghost Inn. Gray is such a boring color. Hopefully the staff will have it painted correctly by time I show up. Also, planning on being there Thursday. Will just hop the morning ferry to Bridgeport and maybe a 4 hr ride from there ( probably 5 hrs in "Wife Time").:qpnmt:
Note that only upstairs rooms available. Just have to keep a close eye on wife on stairs. Maybe insist she wear helmet at all times to keep a repeat of last years blood fest from happening again.
Bozo, did you ask Corina about swapping rooms with someone on the first floor? If you explain that Diane has trouble on the stairs she might be able to help. Just a thought!

Woman said she would put a note with my reservation if 1st floor opens up. Now I'm nervous because John says there is a 3rd floor also. 2nd floor would be tough. 3rd would not do at all. I will probably check back next month.

...or, maybe the elevator installation will be complete by the time you arrive?? :D
I called early to get a room on first floor due to knee problems and I got one , but Corina called and asked if I would be willing to switch to a second floor for someone that really needed the first floor due to serious problem ,so I did give up my 1st floor room..... she said the steps are not bad....hope she is right :)
Thank you Mary, I was just going to post asking if anyone would give up a 1st floor room. You are very kind for doing that, my wife (Pam) and I stayed at the GGI last fall. The stairs are not difficult, I have two bad knees
Tom
If you need someone to carry your bags up I'll do it for you. Just glad to see you can make it this year...:pepper:
