You guys are making me feel a little abusive ... LOL. The FBG gets a battery tender, and some sea foam every tank in the winter ... but, I take her out and ride her every week ... well almost ... does have to get to at least 10* before I will go out. We don't get many days were it's less than 10*. I won't take her out during an inversion, just too frigging cold. We usually get one of those a year ... between mid December and mid January ... so we are getting close to that time. I also won't ride if there is ice in the shade, but, we don't get that too much.
The thing I love about Happy Valley, we get sunshine every day and snow goes from solid to gaseous very quickly. This facilitates the snow just going away with very little ice left behind. We used to have a meteorologist on the bowling league, he explain why that happens here, but, it kind of went over my head. Basically it has something to do with our low humidity desert climate and the altitude (5000 feet). Today is supposed to be the coldest day this week. Gonna get to 42*. By the weekend we'll be back into the low 50's.
