What a shame. I knew this stuff when I was in 3rd grade. Maybe earlier.
WOW! 52??? That is really SAD!
My own kids were brought up understanding our flag and respecting it from an early age. When my son was a little guy he put a couple adults on the spot while standing with me to watch the Memorial Day parade in our town. They didn't remove their hats as the flag passed and he educated them about what the flag was all about and how to it respect.
All i can say is.....We are all Doomed.....:cxtv::cxtv:
Doomed is a mild descriptive. This is what we are facing as a country dealing with progressive brainless zombies.:gah::gah::gah::gah::gah::gah::gah::gah::gah::gah::gah::gah::gah::gah:

Sometime I think people just act stupid to get put in a video and then sometime people are just stupid. This is a prime example of our education system and the lack of teaching history and civics. I could go on but I won't.

Unbelievable! Ed is right. Schools apparently are lacking in the studies of History, Civics and Social Studies if these last two videos are any proof... And Rhino is right. We are doomed to repeat our mistakes by not having an understanding of these subjects.
I'm thinking.... No hoping that those Dingus's are too stupid to be able to find a poling place, Let alone know how to Vote... And my guess is' If it's raining on election day... They won't go out for fear their hair will get wet.........
I'm thinking the only voting those people do is for American Idol...
My head hurts!
It takes density for our Country to get in the shape it has found itself. Pun intended.
Well ..... we have a POTUS who said there were 57?

I can remember in third grade, cause our teacher pointed out the new flag, with 50 stars.
Damn... am I that old???
Sadly, this gets worse. Try asking which country we gained our independence from. Some of the answers I have heard include California, China, France, not to mention - what? True products of our educational system, or rather the lack thereof.
And this from our fearless leader!! Plus, he has two states to go!!

WOW!
Devils Advocate here, But you have to understand, The only people who will walk up to a reporter with a microphone are Morons to begin with..
I had a shop on 47th and 5th in Manhattan right around the corner from some major broadcasters, Quite often the would put a reporter on 6th ave with a cameraman and a microphone. And i can't tell you how many times i'll see some moron run across 4 lanes of midtown traffic and almost getting run-over, So they can have a microphone stuck in their face...And then they can say something 'Any thing to get on the news....
And most of those Yahoos were from out of town...I mean they would run around the cars like they were ducking cow pies....
They sure would out run me every time.;)

No need to go to polling place anymore ... they can get the ballot sent to them and have their folks, who can read, read it to them and probably mark the box for them. :AGGHH:
