I do more riding in the cold weather then during the hot summer months and never felt the need for a heated seat.
That being said, I also never use the heated seat option in my truck either. Guess I have a naturally warm rear, lol. :laugh:

If I could get away with it, I'd wear heated pants 24/7 :laugh:
I never thought of needing or wanting heated seats. I always thought WHY?
Well I bought a 2010 Goldwing and it had the heated seats etc... I could not believe how it helped. There is a line that can be crossed. That line is how much or thick your clothing is. I never ran into a problem caused by that but there is no doubt it could happen.
Now I want a heated seat and grips.
The Kuryakyn seat for glodwings will burn you up. Factory set at 3, kuryakyn set at 1. A lot depends on the seat.
Personally I would add thee hated seat. But that's me, not you
I ended up replacing seat with non-heated Diamond brand. Very happy with it.
