Solo ride down the California coastline

Leaving in the morning to run down the California coast. Probably from somewhere near San Francisco to San Diago. Will try to post some pictures as I go.
We also leave this morning for PCH. Running it from top down. Will take a few days to get to start point from Indiana.

Did that trip on two wheels, a few years ago. Should be more fun on three.

At one point around Big Sir we got behind a couple of trucks that said "Got Poop!". The one that was loaded could barely pull some of the hills (engine didn't have enough poop). Not many places to pass on that section of road. After a time, they did pull over and let us get by them.

Also there was a section of road where the surf was breaking and the spray was being carried across the road. The couple on the motorcycle in front of us got good and wet.

Hope you have at least as much fun as we did!

Back home safe and sound... We'll safe anyway. It was a great trip and a good test for the TG. A little over 1200 miles. Lots of temps above 100 degrees and heavy traffic. The TG performed flawlessly and I just can't imagine having more confidence in any other trike or bike. It drew a lot of attention whenever I stopped and I did have a lot of questions asked by curious onlookers, but I guess that goes with the territory. I have attached a few pictures. if the pics are upside down.... Sorry. Also included my meal splurge at Joes Crab Shack. Lol

Got back a little over a week ago from 101 trip (LA to Sacramento) Heavy traffic around accidents and toll booths. Ca should have lots of money from tolls alone. Traffic backed up for miles. ($15 for MC and small trailer across Bay Bridge while cars a $5.)

are there tolls on that route????we did the san fran to san diego run in 2013, and never payed a toll anywhere, in fact we never saw a toll booth anywhere in the USA. does this make us criminals??
