Hello ,I am a new guy to the trike forum and I am from Tennessee .I ride a 05 gl1800 and maybe looking at trike kit for it.

I just traded in my 01 GW for an 08 with a champion kit ... absolutely love it. I would try to find test rides on as many of the conversion kits as you can. Then you'll be making an informed decision.
Also, read all you have time for here about the different kits. Lots of info on their strengths and weaknesses. If you stick with the biggies, I think you'll be fine.
The biggest thing that makes or breaks a conversion is the builder. Try to find out as much about a builder before you hire him as possible. If you are going to do the conversion yourself, this will limit your choices on some of the kits. Lots of the manufacturers won't sell to anyone but a dealer. I think it's a liability thing.

Be sure and check out the Hannigan kit,it's a great kit,good quality and lots of options. The big plus is their factory is only a couple of hours from you. You should come and tour the factory and they do the install in house. They are located here in Murray Ky. Good luck with your decision.
