Cruise control filter?.....
It is more of a square sponge type that dries out over time
This is for parts, labor and tax. I purchased used and unknown when the last time any of this was done by previous owner
My opinion...........Let him do it.....ThumbUp.....

I've been meaning too change them too. I recently had the K&N air filter out for a cleaning & re-oil. Would have been a good time I guess, huh?Since you mentioned the "cruise" filter I am assuming we are talking about a GL1500, right? If so, the GL1500 has two small foam filters, the L shaped cruise filter and the rectangular sub filter. They tend to dry out and crumble over time. It's not an exact science, so I purchased a foam air filter element for a lawn mower and fashioned a couple matching filters. This foam material doesn't break down like the Honda OEM foam does. Mine have been in place for over 100K miles and many years in my 1990se.
where is an 1800 fuel filter?
To put your mind at ease...it is a 1500Another reason I believe we are talking about a GL1500 as the GL1800 has no replaceable fuel filter. Unless, of course, he as an ignorant or unscrupulous dealer that would charge him for one on an 1800.

I agree, had all done...$238.00 out the door.
