96 VLX kit

Hello everyone. My wife has a '96 VLX with 1400 miles on it. She hasn't ridden it since 98 but said she would get back on it if it had a third wheel. So, I guess I need to find a good independant suspension kit to make that happen. I would say your best bet is to look for a used Honda 1500 or possibly a used Harley Sportster that has already been converted. Less head acks from something that is more popular.
