Anyone Have Children Deployed Overseas?

My youngest son is not in the military, but works for the government.

A few years back, he spent 6 months in Afghanistan & is returning for a few weeks & I hate it!

His last deployment I did not hardly sleep for 6 months worrying.

Anyone else have children deployed?

When i was in Nam...1966...... My Mother aged at least 10 years from worrying ......

You worry about your Children till the day ''You'' are gone...

My daughter spent a year in Iraq, I had many sleepless nights. At present I have a grandson on the USS Abraham Lincoln, in the Middle East. Very little contact with him due to the mission. God is in charge, is what keeps me going.

My son completed his mission & got home a day early. All is well in my little world.
