Has anyone used or using 557 SS Cams? I like to get a better bottom an mid range out of my 2014. Any suggestions of a better cam set and Y will be greatly appreciated . I am running a VO2 air cleaner ,FP3 tuner, and SC Eagle slip-on mufflers.

Stock header with cat. I plan to change to Vance Hines pipes.

I run TTS 100 cams in my '13" and love them. Lots and lots of low end torque.

I’ve been wanting to ask this for a while now, so here goes....

i had a 2013 and was looking into the TTS 100 cams, but never did it despite all the great reviews on the low end torque. Now that I’ve got a 2018 that only has one cam, not sure if the TTS 100 is still a viable option or if there is something better? I know H-D sells a torque cam but have no idea if it’s any good.

I went to their web site and it looks like they are dealing with car and truck mods only now.

SS 557 cams

Cowboy i am running the 557 cams in my RG coversion (CSC trike) I also have the jackpot header , Super trapp mufflers, Power Vision tuner. Dyno charts shows 81 HP/102TQ. I no these figures are correct because there was only at 1/2 point diff in the numbers.I had it Dynoed again at another great shop. that specializes in performance tuning Harleys. The TQ comes on at 2,300 RPM and carries over to 5,000 RPM before it starts to fall over.Boy is it fun to ride and pulls like a freight train..The 557 were recommended by DC cycles in ala. and Harley here in Memphis. I did the work myself and cant be happier.Yes I say go with the 557cams . My Thoughts Ron

SS 557 cams

Started looking into TTS100 cams. I do like the torque curve and a broader RPM . Also called Vance& Hines about FP3 tuner. They do have a tune for TTS100 & TTS150 cams also. Looking at some of the charts. The SS 557 cam drops off sooner and don't red line as high.

So now I have to ask! Is the TTS100 going to really make the difference? Or do I bite the bullet an just Buy the 110 kit?

And if so witch one S&S, H.D.? Y does HARLEY DAVIDSON make me suffer so!!!:gah:

SS 557 cams

Like everyone I am trying to get the best out of my ride. With out having to shift soooooooooo must. And being left behind. Love the TRIKE Hat the lack of power!

Tony my opinion only. You can make the 107 run just as well as the 110 kit would do. My previous trike was a 2007 RK conversion with the then 103 motor. I put S & S cams in that and had it tuned and it was a great ride. My current trike has a factory/dealer installed 110 motor with the TTS 100 cams tuned and it is also a great ride. I believe your 107 with the right cams and a good tune will be also a great ride. See if you can find the some dyno charts and look at the numbers reference torque. Then see how they fit in with your riding style. You want your motor to perform best at where you normally ride it. Having your high torque at the 4k rpm range does you no good normally. You want the torque to come in strong down in the 2000 rpm range then stay up there through about 4500 rpm. Most people normally ride in the 2000 to 3000 rpm range some just a tad higher. Good luck with your choice. remember your exhaust effects the torque. True duals are not good for low end torque. The best are 2 into one for that, but most of us like our dual exhaust so look at a good 2 one two system. See DK's web site one of our forum sponsors he has a lot of information on the subject.

Am currently running the S&S 557's in my 14 triglide. Also running the S&S stealth air cleaner, stock headers, and full boar mufflers, with a tuner. Low end torque is great as well as top end. Also running a 58MM throttle body and had a good tune put on it.

What made you decide to go with 58MM throttle body?

when having the cams installed, builder recommended it as well as new heads. basically put the stage 4 kit on the 103 but used cnc heads instead of Harley heads that come with the stage 4 and chose the 557's after talking with the S&S tech instead of using the 255's. Wanted to put in the 585's but was told by the S&S rep that the 557's would be the best in conjunction with the other modifications.

I have a 16 trike, prior to that a 12 ultra. Both bikes I put in Andrew's 57's. Stump pulling Tq, great passing power. Nice cam. I am sure you will enjoy them. Wish we were closer you would be welcome to take it for a ride.

Thanks Ed appreciate the offer! I would love to have a front wheel lifting power. But I do realize that's not going to happen.

Ya nice to dream tho.

557 ss

The deed is done.

S&S TC3 Oil Pump & Cam plate Kit

S&S 557 Cam Kit For Harley Twin Cam

S&S Hydraulic Cam Chain Tensioner

S&S Complete Push rod Kit

S&S Cam Bearings

Cometic AFM Series Cam Cover Gasket

I have to say that I haven't stopped smiling yet .

It is now 2021 and still loving it.

Have two buddies who have had Four Rivers Harley (Paducah) do the 128 kit on their 107ci Trikes within the past couple of months. They have Vance & Hines headers, all the other goodies, and I think S&S cams. Each utilized different slip-on mufflers. Their dino numbers were really high but still slightly different. They claim the S&S cams don't give you the "idle lop sound" but is a better cam for torque.

I'm not into changing cams and all of that but I did have Four Rivers install different header pipes to help reduce the heat some.
