brake lite

i have a 09 stallion the brake lite in dash is staying on i checked the fluid theres no leaks its not low on fluid dont have a clue why is on

If you have a parking brake make sure it is released all the way, there is a switch attached to trip the light. If that is NOT the cause you more than likely have a master cylinder by passing pressure. If this is the problem you should see a lower and spongy pedal . This will require replacing the master cylinder

bob jack has hit both possible issues. both have happened in the past to different stallions.

If you have a parking brake, look to see if there is a switch wired to it. If it does un plug it is the brake light still on? If it is you have ruled out the parking brake

Some master cylinders have float inside. If it has one make sure it's not stuck down or it will think it's low on fluid
