For the guys with the beards I would think the cooling deflector wings would help with the uplift, I put my cdw’s on when I did the 2” tank lift on my 18 Tri glide. Very happy with the result, everything from dk is top notch.

I have a2017 Freewheeler & I went with the 1.5" lift front & rear as well as the air wing deflectors & it was a great improvement in heat reduction, wind buffeting from under the tank.
As Kevin says, it makes it easier for cleaning & shows that engine off.

I went with the 2" lift on the front and the 1/2" rear. Also added the CDW wings. I actually got it as a tool to cool the trike as much as I can. Before I ordered it I had already decided the buffeting wouldn't improve much because a lot of the buffeting was also coming from the sides of the tank as well as the front. After the install I took it for a ride and quite honestly I was surprised. The buffeting was greatly improved. Evidently some of the side buffeting was corrected by the angle of the tank lift. Either way it's a win win for me. Just installed a Hammock seat with it and haven't been on a ride yet but it does seem to fit fine with no problems from the lift.
A big Yea. Work as advertised. I went with 1 1/2" deluxe and swapped out for 2 1/2". You wont regret it.

I ordered the 2 1/2" with the Deluxe Option, (rear spacers) and installed them. pushed the tank as far to rear as I could. The handle bars don't hit the tank when I turn. Also didn't have to add any extra fuel line.
Slight thread resurrection here. I got the 1.5" deluxe lift and the CWD's at the same time and installed together. It was 75 today and I plugged in the FP3 to check engine temp. I ran it in town, on the highway and on the interstate. I ran it kinda hard, shifting around 4000-4500 RPM and hit the 6200 rev limiter a couple of times. ( I found out I can go way too fast and still have half my gears left Lol) The temp stayed right at 200. When I would stop, it would climb some but still didn't get above 215 and would drop back down quick when I started moving.
As to the buffeting help, I installed a new Freedom Shields windshield and took away a lot of the head on buffeting. That's when I noticed how much was coming from down low and up in front of the tank and lower fairings. After adding the tank lift and CWD's, I have hardly any buffeting at all. I can dress lighter in the winter now due to a lot less wind. I still have enough wind to be comfortable in warmer weather as well. I will do more tests later with the lower vents open and check temps again.
This total mod is one of the best I've done so far.
