    Default Stage 2 on 2019 TriGuide

    Well I am taking my 2019 TriGuide to the dealer tomorrow to have a Stage 2 upgrade put on it. SE Torque Cam, exhaust, hi flow Arlen nest inverted air filter and SE Pro Street Tuner. Will see how it runs afterwards.

    Got the bike back, went for a short ride. Nice improvement over stock, haven’t run it hard yet, wanted to put a couple hundred miles on it first. But on just a short cruise, pleased with the improvement and it sounds much better.

    I did the stage 1 on my X 2011, That was well worth it.......
    Sometimes a Cigar is Just a Cigar.....
    2019 Tri-Glide.......

    Well I have put a couple thousand Miles on the Tri glide since the stage 2 was installed. Has been really good, runs a lot stronger, sounds a lot better. About the only negative thing I can say is it did not cool it down any, bike is still hot on the right leg and the fan runs for 20-30 sec every time I turn it off. I was hoping the stage 2 setup would have also cooled it some. But the bike puts a smile on my face every time I ride it.

    If you didn't remove the cat in the head pipe or replace the head pipe you are still going to have some heat issues.Also the Harley tuner will still make it run within EPA regulations which means lean.On Nov 3rd i'm taking my 17 Tri Glide in and having the S&S 465 cam installed along with the upgraded oil pump,S&S lifters,adjustable push rods,S&S tappet guides along with a gutted head pipe and a TTS tuner.So i'm hoping the heat issue is better along with better performance.

    With a slightly hotter cam, it is probably running a bit hotter. There are things you can do, see the written Report at this LINK

    Do you know the HP and Torque benefits? My 2018 could use a little more passing power.

    I too installed a Stage II kit with Pro Street Tuner and Auto Tune module with the wide band O2 sensors. Vance & Hinds header removing the cat converter and Cobra mufflers. Had Palm Coast H.D. in Florida install the Stage II so as not to void the warranty.

    I runs great and plan on taking it cross country next year after I install the rake and lift kits with the new shocks.

    Mine is Scorched Orange like yours! I love that color!!

    The Stage 2 did replace the stock head pipe with aftermarket cat-less headpipe. It still is hot on the leg. No we didn’t put the bike on a dyno so I don’t have any hp/tq numbers. But it pulls a lot stronger Very happy with the bike now, just wish it was a little cooler.

    i previously has a 2012 CVO Ultra 110 (which run hot), had the exhaust changed to Rinehart True Duals and HD SE Super Tuner, put the bike on the dyno and properly tuned it. Bike run real good and a lot cooler too. This is what I was hoping for with the Stage 2 On the TriGlide .

    which cams did you get? 447 or 462?

    Heat management is a long process well it was for me. Started with floorboards extended an inch outward ' a great tuner, I lifted the tank to force more air on motor, purchased air deflectors to assist air on motor, wrapped header pipe with Titanium DEI BRAND. Custom designed an enlarged oil cooler and installed love jug fans. Now on 90° days oil temperature 215-225 Engine temperatures 220-240 Now comfortable any time.

    Stage two with OEM parts you are still shorting yourself. To achieve the full benefits of your $$$$ invested, you need to get it tuned, which will entail unlocking the ECM, thereby voiding your warranty, also sending a red flag to harley. However, that SOB will run like hell, hold on...I know...

    Got my 17 back from the shop, using a s&s 465 cam ,stage 1 air cleaner and a TTS tuner along with a Fullsac Sport pipe and started at 73 hp and 96 ft lbs torque and ended with 90 hp and 107 torque. And it runs amazing with the torque coming in at a lower rpm for lots of pull away power.
