Hi everyone, just ended up with a set of CVO mufflers. Question is, has anyone changed the baffles out to make them sound better? If so, what kind or brand did you use? Thanks Rich

I do not have a CVO Tri-Glide but I've had several CVO Ultras and Limiteds. It's very easy to change out the baffle with those from Fullsac - https://fullsac.com/ . . . and they perform very well.
I had their 1.75" baffles on two of my CVOs and really liked them. The 2.0" are a bit louder and the 2.25" louder yet. Steve George, the owner, is a great guy and very knowledgeable. Give him a call or email for more info.
What year mufflers? The early years just had tack welds, but Steve told me the new cvo mufflers have a full weld all around.

Posserider, looking at different options. Did you say you had them on your Triglide? No difference in sound?

I'm such a fan of these mufflers, that i would purchase some older cvo mufflers & convert them. I have had numerous people ask about them because they like the deep tone. The harley dealers around me with dyno's state they are ever bit as good as the name brands when doing just stage 1, or 2.

DIdn't realize you were not aware of the baffles. My dealer told me FulSac when I bought them, but ,I dont see an easy fix as weld looks to me to go all around the baffle. Mine is a 2020 ,maybe yours are a diff yr. I will prob just remove cat & put stock back on. Then sell the CVO slip ons. I did that on my 2016 & it sounded good. No way I can remove that weld & then reweld. O well just something else to sell.

Well guys I went ahead and put the CVO mufflers on today. They don’t sound to bad. Was going to post video of pipes, but don’t know how, sorry. Will leave alone for now and put some miles on it
Without see the the actual muff/baffle setup it is hard to visualize. Running a set of 16 cvo muffs with the 2” cores and packing retainers. Most likely Fullsac would use a hole saw big enough for the new baffle without the plate, and weld the baffle in. I believe they do the same to stock muffs when “they” do the conversion.
