God's little blessings are our furry friends! Love is all they need and will return it 10x.

So, as I mentioned, she's teething. I did find some "Testing Rings" made from Chicken and Flour that are totally digestible. She loves them and gets a new one every morning, after her breakfast. It usually lasts her until about 3-4 pm. So that's about 10 hours of no teething on me.
This morning we did our business outside, came in and had breakfast. After she ate, I gave her the daily "Teething Ring". She ran around he room looking for someplace to hide it. She's hidden them before, but, if I walk by where she hides it, she will move it to another spot.
As you can imagine, in a room that's 12' by 12', there's not a lot of hiddy holes. Along with the size, I've put 6" PVC pipe along the perimeter of the bed (did this so Harley wouldn't be able to hide from Mom when I went out of town. It's come in handy keeping Kira from hiding from me as well ), so that area is not available.
This morning after searching the room, she realized there were no new places to hide it ... so she brought it onto the bed and showed it to me and whined.
Kind of pathetic, but, I felt sad for her. I lifted the edge of the pillow and she hid it there (not sure why it was okay I knew where it was). All's well that ends well. Now I need to find a new hiddy hole for tomorrow.
LOL... Too cute Alan! Aren't puppies great!
"I don't need a map. I still have a road in front of me!"
Yes indeed ... She is a lot of work and has seriously cut into my trike time, but, She has also filled a "Harley" sized hole in my heart. She'll never replace him, but, she does put a smile on my face most of the time ... just the goofy stuff she does.
Monday night she woke at 1:30 am to go potty ... it was raining, pretty sure she had never seen that before ... LOL ... She was trying to "bite" the raindrops ... my phone was in the house ... would of made a great video ... LOL
I have to say, only about 1/3 of the nights does she get up to go potty ... the rest of the time she sleeps from like 8:30 am until 5 am. For that, I'm truly grateful ... I'm too old to not sleep.
That reminds me of my little Sheltie, Ella's first time in the rain. She did the same thing biting at the rain. She is a really smart little girl but a goofy pup.
And I agree, Ella has filled a hole in my heart but she will never replace the spot in my heart for my Sheltie, Cheyenne, whom is still with me, just not physically.

Today Kira got her first "Spa Day". To quote another member ... "tails & nails", even got her teeth brushed.
After the last debacle with the groomers ... I switched to one that was highly recommended ... this gal does a great job and even offers tooth brushing for $7 extra ... Kira and Annabelle both got the toothies brushed. My Vet said that I should get Kira's teeth brushed just so she gets used to it. That way ... when she gets her big girl teeth, it won't be such a shock.
Here's what she was wearing when I picked her up. I think this is a 4th of July thing.
Annabelle had a red one, but, with her size, the rubber band didn't hold up until we got home.
Fuzz dogs can take over your life and that’s a good thing 75 now that means I’ve had dogs in my household for 71 years it’s been four years now since my last one went and I’m so tempted to get another one But the wife says that’s enough!...Even In NAM I was assigned for two weeks to backup/protect On patrols two K9’s And their handlers The sad thing is those dogs never made it back home either because of combat or they were destroyed rather then ship them back to United States ! Department of Army rules back then😱 I think that rule has been changed in just the last few years!

Pretty sure she's taken over mine. The groomer this morning told me it would be about 2 hours for Annabelle, she is huge and takes awhile to dry,. Anyway, I rushed home and did like a 60 mile ride on the trike. Just pulled in the garage when the phone rang and the groomer said they were ready.
I was kind of glad ... was starting to miss her. I really need to get started on getting her used to the trike. Starting to miss that too ... no reason I can't have both ...
Alan she is so cute. Now get her a tub to play in.

Too funny Alan!!!

7 bucks for teeth brushing beats the heck out of what the vet charges and starting them young is a good thing so you don't have to get the vet involved.
The only reason some people are still alive is it's illegal to shoot them.

The three musketeers all had bad teeth. Did not like the tooth brush thing . They all ended up with breath that would remove wall paper.
When I play with Mr Beans , I stick a finger in his mouth while he try’s to love bight my finger , and rub his teeth and gums with a rubber finger used to turn book pages. He has now got use of the brush , but be quick and breef.

This may not of been a good idea. She loves paddling around the pool and even biting the water. Unfortunately, she also likes rolling in the dirt afterwards ... ... Which of course means I need to give her a bath after that.
If she is happy, I think it's a good idea. You could just hose her off.
