Amazon Prime Days

As I said before, I "accidentally" signed up for prime, I thought I was selecting free shipping, which I was because my 30 day trial includes free 2 day shipping ... on some stuff.

During Prime Days there was a Contigo 32 oz bottle that is just like my 24 oz one for like a third of the price so I ordered it.

It came today in just a "padded" Envelope which looked used. Of course it came with a dent, that wouldn't of bothered me as much except it was near the bottom and the bottom is not now flat, so it kind of wobbles on a flat surface.



So I got geared up to do the return thing. I was dreading it. Apparently Prime members get to take their returns to Kohl's and they will ship it back to Amazon for free ... good deal, I think. If I don't get a receipt or something, I'm thinking that would be silly from my perspective. Anyone used this option?

My Wife has Amazon prime.......And a few times they Sent a damaged article .....And most times after she tells them the item came damaged, Or came missing parts, They will send a new replacement , And then tell her to keep the damaged article don't bother to send it back.....

I just would feel better if I got something showing I sent it back, don't wanna pay twice. Not saying I won't get a receipt ... but the instructions don't say anything about that ...

I plan to have my mom drop it off ... she's there like 3 times a week ... buying ... returning ... buying ... exchanging ... I told her they have these new things called dressing rooms ... you can actually see if it fits before you buy it ... this older generation is just spoiled.

I was that way once, If i can't Touch it Feel it or try it, I wouldn't buy it.....Then i got married and all the Touching and Feeling and Trying Ended........

Yea, Amazon i wont shop anywhere else, Unless its for Ice Cream...

Kohl’s- keeper has stock in that place. Comes home with 10 things and says there is cameras in the try on room returns 10 then brings home 15.

Told her if there were cameras , you would be on the people of Walmart thread !

Its been years since iv'e been below the Line.....It seems everyone i talk to up here is planing or have moved down there....They will eventually be living next to the people down there that they were running away from up here.........

So I went early to get the dogs, purchased some spray adhesive to put the styrofoam foam back into the trailer. While running around I decided to take the bottle to Kohl's ... to be honest ... I kind of thought this was some kind of scam.

If it's a scam ... it's pretty good .... LOL.

I walk into Kohl's (my first time ever) clearly with a "deer in the headlights look". The gal at the register see's me and tells me I need to go to the right wall in the middle and they will help me. I was taken aback for a minute (thought maybe Alexa was stalking me, which she is), then realized I was carrying an Amazon Prime padded envelope. There is signage that shows you which line to get in for the amazon thing, the whole time I was thinking to myself, what's in this for Kohl's? I was the only one in any line. The gal at the counter in the right wall middle was very helpful and explained that not a lot of folks know about this new program. Apparently, it only rolled out July 1st. Considering it's only been 3 weeks, it's pretty smooth, at least in this little burg ... LOL, might be a bit more chaotic in a big city. I showed the gal the qr scan thingie on my phone, she scanned it, printed me a confirmation that said I had returned the item (complete with order number). It also said that Kohl's accepted responsibility for returning the item to Amazon within 21 days. So I'm off the hook. Okay, so why does Kohl's do this? Is Kohl's affiliated with Amazon??? Seems maybe Amazon really does need a brick and mortar store ... .

So when the gal is wrapping up her "schtick", she explains that if I bring the bottom half of the confirmation to the store, I get 25% off any purchase (there are limitations) before July 29th. That's what they get ... ... that's not gonna happen ... I'll give it to mom, she goes there like 2-3 times a week ... I'll be her hero ... at least for a single purchase ... LOL.

That would be my guess
