Colleydog, having tuned my previous bikes with a PV or TTS, I will say it is an interesting experience. Having a 20 tri myself, you can use a PV to monitor your bike without marrying it to the bike/ecm. I have run several logs on my bike just to see what is going on. Don’t know how much of a tech you are, to view logs you can download Megalog Viewer HD, get the pro version for a few bucks, it’s worth it. Also download WinPV, from the DynoJet website, free. Eventually I will get a new license from Fuel Moto and work on this bike/tune. Jamie from FM sent me a stock improved tune for the 20’s with the rdrs. They also provide unlimited tech support for the life of your PV, and are great to work with. DK Customs are also great to work with. I just can’t seem to find a decent way to mount it o the 20 with stock bars, lol. One other thought, if you get a new PV, and marry it to your current bike, but do not flash a new tune, I wonder if that will show up on the HD tech thing, maybe someone with more knowledge could answer that.
My bike is a 18 and already out of warranty so it doesn’t bother me to get a tuner, have been looking at the power vision, they are 399 on fuelmoto and 549 on dk customs, what don’t know is if there is a difference between the 2, don’t mind to pay more if I get something different, but don’t want to pay more for the same product. Maybe Kevin or someone the knows will chime in and tell me if there is a difference.

Probably a sale to drum up post Chinese Virus business ... Mom just got an email from the company that flies her to Wendover Casinos twice a year ... they gave her a buy one get one free coupon, she always goes with her friend so ... they will split the cost.
I would go with FM. When I had my 15 RG, street tuned, I would get a pop at 1700/1800 rpm only with the throttle closed and decelerating. We tried a few thing, finally figured out that HD cuts the fuel to the injectors during decel above 1800 and one you go below 1800 the fuel is turned back on and hence the pop. They redid my map and turned the fuel cutoff off and all was good. Might of been the parts combination, but they didn’t hesitate to work with me.
Legendary good service.
When I caused myself issues with my Powervision monitor and that was all it was my problem. I worked with Fuel Moto, Kevin (DK) and DynoJet in Nevada. All of these organizations treated me like I was the only customer they had. As it turned out it was the old wiring on the trike's accessory circuit and or plug corrosion. Regardless the service was top notch the PV has been on many different bikes/trikes all over and it works just fine. Just to add Kevin even ran it for a few days on his trike just to make sure it was fine. So I don't think you can go wrong which ever way you go, just my opinion. Of course that's like well you know. Ride safe Fred

How does the Power Vision stack up against the Vance & Hines Fuel Pack. I had the V&H on my Dyna and liked it.
The FP3 is a basic flash tuner that offers basic control of several basic tuning tables, because of this it has limited tunability and is best suited for stage 1 applications with V&H exhausts. FP3 also uses your tablet or smartphone exclusively with its tuning app via bluetooth. It does not use a software suite, it does not log data, and does not offer wideband integration. Also understand you are likely not going to take your FP3 equipped bike to a dyno or tuning shop and expect them to tune with this product, it is not designed for that.
Dynojet Power Vision is a full featured flash tuner, it gives you full access to 35+ tuning tables within the Delphi ECM. There is an extensive range of maps available for a wide variety of engine combinations (Fuel Moto has over 1000 maps in our library) and it includes powerful WinPv software. You can display & log data, and you can also do quite a bit of tuning right with the PV screen as well. Power Vision includes the Auto Tune Basic application and also has the wideband Auto Tune Pro kit as an optional accessory. However the best thing Power Vision has going is the level of support available thru both Fuel Moto and Dynojet. In the end we recommend using the product you or your tuner are most comfortable working with that has the best resources to work with, it is also important to have a willingness to learn.

We partner with Fuelmoto on the Power Vision, so when you get it from us you get the benefit of all the maps and experience from both Fuelmoto AND DK Custom, including double the warranty.
Fuelmoto seems to be on a never-ending sale, so their price is 399 vs. our price of 469. You won't go wrong either way. I like to think our Customer Service is worth some extra, but we cannot sell them at the super thin margins that Fuelmoto does.
Whomever you get it from, I believe you will enjoy the improved tune and the option of being able to monitor key functions of the Trike.

Last I checked you could only get a license for an additional bike straight from Dynojet. They have a form, and it is much less expensive to license an additional bike on an existing Power Vision than to buy a new one.
The one on my '19 TG was also on my '11 and then my '14.
